who you really are...
Personality: Castiel is usually pretty serious and can be on the solemn side. Despite being around for a very long time (before the creation of the earth), he does not get pop culture references, and often does not get jokes and is confused by them. Sarcasm especially is hard for him to understand, which makes it really interesting when he is hanging out with Sam and Dean.
Likes:Sam and Dean, peanut butter and jelly (though only when he was made to be human for a short while)
Dislikes: Going against god, demons, some angels
Strengths: Angel abilities, immortality
Weaknesses: Angel blades, Holy Oil can trap him
History:
Castiel was created with the other angels before humans were created. He was very young though when Luciver rebelled against heaven. In 2008, Castiel found and spoke to his vessel for the first time. Jimmy Novak was the human's name. Jimmy willingly allowed Castiel to possess him. Castiel brought Dean out of hell to help the angels stop the demons from freeing Lucifer. (Unfortunately, that did not work out and Lucifer was eventually freed.)
Castiel had been helping the Winchesters from time to time, but when the angels learned of a woman named Anna Milton who could listen in on angel's conversations, there was a panic and he and his angel partner Uriel were sent to kill Anna. Castiel was hesitant about this, especially since he had known Anna as his superior Anael who disobeyed and cut her grace, falling to earth and being reborn as a human.
They attacked her and the Winchesters because they were protecting her, but Anna performed a ritual (her memory back), and they disappeared. Anna retrieved her grace and Alastair was defeated, though Dean had saved Castiel during the fight and Castiel held Uriel back from attacking Dean aand they went to chase after Anna instead. With Alastair in he and Uriel's 'custody', suddenly it was revealed that 7 angels were killed and then the demon trap set around Alastair was messed up causing him to be freed and he attacked Dean. It was revealed that Uriel, and not demons as he had previously thought, was behind the angels being killed and Alastair getting loose. Castiel fought Uriel though he was no match for him and had to be saved by Anna who killed Uriel with her Angel blade. Much more has happened since then, and Castiel often helps Dean and Sam, coming whenever they call.
